Abstract
Emergent narrative is the one of the more promising approaches for interactive storytelling. In this thesis, we look to lay the foundation for exploring emergent narrative through the use of an easy-to-use and efficient planning framework. We show that our approach can reliably demonstrate emergent behavior in agents, like cooperation and competition. We also analyze our implementation in detail and discuss what we believe the next steps for this project are in order to reach true emergent narrative.
